Why the name, Lamborghini?
As in other Lamborghini models, the name "Aventador" was chosen due to a symbolic relationship with the world of bullfighting, taking the name of the bull Aventador, a leading trophy winner bull. Raised by "Sons of Don Celestino Cuadri Vides", this bull, who took the number 32, participated in a remarkably passionate, bloody and violent fight with the bullfighter Emilio Muñoz during the Pilar Fair held in 1993 in the Spanish city of Zaragoza, so he won the "Trophy to the bravest bull of the Fair" awarded by the Peña La Madroñera. The production of the Aventador will be limited to 4000 units (from its predecessor, the Murciélago, 4099 were manufactured). The casting molds used to produce the carbon fiber monohulls have an expected life expectancy of 500 units each and only eight have been produced.
